Reading time and records never get a price tag. Space and belonging do. mekuru's pricing is designed around that line.
Book covers can only be unlocked by time spent reading. They cannot be bought.
The paid “Owner” plan is ¥580 per month, tax included. On the web you can subscribe by credit card. In the iOS app you can purchase through the App Store, at the price the App Store shows for your country or region.

What the "Owner" plan adds
A venue and a host's toolkit, for the person who runs a reading circle that keeps going.
- Room furnishing (editing and furnishing presets)
- Larger rooms (6 and 10 seats)
- Making a room public
- Weekly standing sessions
Before you start, you can take a look inside for 14 days — free, and with no card. When the trial ends, nothing converts to a paid subscription automatically.
Payment and cancellation
- In the iOS app you purchase through the App Store. On the web, payment is by credit card — Stripe processes the payment and RevenueCat manages the subscription. Either way, the paid features belong to the same account.
- You can cancel at any time: from your profile if you purchased on the web, and from your profile’s “Manage subscription” link or Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone if you purchased in the iOS app. Charges stop from the next renewal, and paid features stay available until the end of the current period.
- If you stop, rooms within the free tier stay usable. Furnishings, settings, and reading records are preserved and return when you resubscribe. The room's light dims for a while — that is all.
