Pricing
The hours of reading themselves carry no price tag. The space, and having a place of your own, do. Everything about mekuru's pricing is designed to hold that line.
Book covers can only be unlocked by time spent reading. They cannot be bought.
The paid “Owner” plan is ¥580 per month, tax included. On the web you can subscribe by credit card. In the iOS app you can purchase through the App Store, at the price the App Store shows for your country or region.

This part stays free.
What the "Owner" plan adds
Everything a host of a continuing reading circle needs: the venue and the organiser's tools. Keeping a record of the books you read belongs here too.

- Registering the books you read (which book the hours gathered on)
Before you start, you can take a look inside for 14 days — free, and with no card. When the trial ends, nothing converts to a paid subscription automatically.
Payment and cancellation
- In the iOS app you purchase through the App Store. On the web, payment is by credit card — Stripe processes the payment and RevenueCat manages the subscription. Either way, the paid features belong to the same account.
- You can cancel at any time: from your profile if you purchased on the web, and from your profile’s “Manage subscription” link or Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone if you purchased in the iOS app. Charges stop from the next renewal, and paid features stay available until the end of the current period.
- If you stop, the rooms within the free plan stay yours. Furnishings, settings, and your reading record are kept, and they return when you come back. The books you registered — and the hours gathered on them — stay too (only registering new ones rests until you light the lamp again). The room's light simply grows smaller for a while.
